Khewra, in Punjab's Salt Range, is one of the oldest salt mines in the world and the main source of Himalayan pink salt.
Pink salt vs table salt
- Less refined, with natural trace minerals that give its pink colour
- No anti-caking agents in ours
- Table salt is usually iodised; if you switch fully, make sure you get iodine elsewhere
It's still salt
Pink salt is still mostly sodium chloride. Use it in moderation.
