By Hammad Tariq · 6 November 2026 · 2 min read

How it's made

Bees forage on flowering black seed (Nigella sativa) fields. The result is dark honey with a bold, slightly bitter-sweet taste. It doesn't contain seeds.

A Prophetic tradition

Both honey and black seed are mentioned in Prophetic medicine, and many Muslim families keep them in the kitchen.

How to take it

  1. 1A teaspoon each morning, on its own or in warm water.
  2. 2Drizzled on toast or yoghurt.
